Butterflies
The butterfly is symbolic of the Soul and transformation in Jungian psychology. The painting of this first collection was a time of personal transformation when I began a new way of painting and seeing, which brought a meditative aspect to my work. The process of creating this piece, which is much like a quilt of former days, provided a peaceful space within a chaotic life of change. I hope this piece inspires the qualities of the butterfly to those who view it; transformation, lightness and joy in life.

Each original watercolor collection was originally completed in a large format and can now be purchased as museum quality prints in three sizes and as cards.
Archival Giclée Prints on Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper using Epson ‘Ultra-Chrome’ pigment based inks.
Gift cards are printed on high quality ultra-gloass card-stock made from 30% post consumer waste, acid free paper and produced with wind power.
