Belted Galloway Cows
Inspired by the “Belties” of the Aldermere Farm in Rockport, Maine, the first design was a full size quilt completed in 1981. The cows’ unique white belly bands stand out with an abstract quality which I tried to capture. The design was painted in watercolor and added to the collections in 2006.

About the Prints
Each original watercolor collection was originally completed in a large format and can now be purchased as museum quality prints in three sizes and as cards.
Archival Giclée Prints on Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper using Epson ‘Ultra-Chrome’ pigment based inks.
Gift cards are printed on high quality ultra-gloass card-stock made from 30% post consumer waste, acid free paper and produced with wind power.
About Giclée Prints
The term ‘Giclée print’ connotes
an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high
resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto fine
quality papers. The quality of the glicée print rivals traditional printing
processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
