Antique Quilt
The original quilt was made with fabrics from the early 20th century. The watercolor version of this quilt was made in 2006. The fabrics in each quilt block were painted true to the original patterns and color. The patterned squares were repeated next to each other rather than placed between a white square, as in the original. This piece is a personal remembrance of my grandmother and mother who both passed on their skills and love of quilting.

About the Prints
Each original watercolor collection was originally completed in a large format and can now be purchased as museum quality prints in three sizes and as cards.
Archival Giclée Prints on Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper using Epson ‘Ultra-Chrome’ pigment based inks.
Gift cards are printed on high quality ultra-gloass card-stock made from 30% post consumer waste, acid free paper and produced with wind power.

The term ‘Giclée print’ connotes
an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high
resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto fine
quality papers. The quality of the glicée print rivals traditional printing
processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
